The interaction between the sound-absorbing core and the surrounding sound-absorbing ring achieves almost complete noise decoupling. When the dart hits the board, the dull tapping sound is transmitted via the back of the dartboard to the entire fiberboard. Professional measurements have demonstrated a noise reduction of over 80% in adjacent rooms. The measured values ​​were below 30 dB, thus fully respecting legally mandated quiet hours. The anthracite-colored Karella Ultimo soundproofing mat covers a 12cm area around the dartboard and, thanks to its material composition, is ideal as a surround.
