This shaft is compatible with Carom Billiard Cue Butts with VP2 joint. The only thing that you must know is that the joint collar outside diameter is 20mm instead of 22mm that is common for Carom Billiard Cue Butts.
When you put it at your Carom Billiard Cue Butt you will notice that the outside diameter of the Shaft is a bit thinner than the Butt.
This will not cause any problem or reduce the performance of your game, but you will notice it.
